Why Choose a Christian Education?
Family
We fully recognize that while sending your child to a private school is an investment in their future, it is also a financial sacrifice. We are asked all the time what sets Jefferson Christian Academy apart from other schools. Other than being a high-achieving school, the major difference is the Christian environment. The teachers and staff at JCA are committed and loving Christians who believe in the mission of the school making us not only a Christian school in name but also in practice, action, and belief. We partner together with our parents and work as God's family to ensure the best educational outcomes for our students.
faith
We know that God is fully in control and believe He should be taught in all subjects; science, math, music, art, athletics and in every other aspect of a student's life. We place God at the center of all we do and offer our students a Christian worldview in all subjects, every day.
“With God’s guidance, Jefferson Christian Academy will cultivate and maintain an environment where the student is nurtured and challenged to realize his or her potential in spiritual maturity, academic attainment, athletic achievement and social and emotional development.”
In accordance with our mission, we have daily Bible classes for K4-12th grade and daily chapel services for K4-12th grade. We have a full-time Campus Minister, overseeing our Spiritual program to include Bible classes and daily chapel services. Here at JCA, we feel strongly that God must be included in all aspects of education and our teachers are encouraged to teach the curriculum from a Biblical perspective. Our hope and goal is to form a partnership between the home and school, where we help to reinforce Christian values at school that are being taught in the home.
friendship
In a time when many public schools have decreasing staff and increasing class sizes, we have worked hard at JCA to keep the size of our classes as low as possible. Our average class size is 13. This smaller class size allows for more one-on-one attention, fewer discipline problems and a safer environment. Our students grow closely together over years of their education here at JCA. The friendships gained at Jefferson Christian Academy are lifelong and enduring.
We work hard to have a safe, welcoming environment that allows learning to take place with minimal distractions. JCA cultivates a culture where all people are loved and included. Whether it's a faculty or staff member, board member, or administrator, we all aim to share His love at all times.
Let us be the Christian education that you have been seeking.
