Sports Participation

If your child loves to play sports and not just dress out, this could 
be the place for YOU! 

Students at JCA have the opportunity to 
participate in multiple sports and at a younger age than at most 
public schools, due to a smaller student body. Jefferson Christian 
Academy competes in the Alabama High School Athletic Association at 
the 1A level.   According to AHSAA rules, students are allowed to 
transfer at the beginning of their 7th grade year without penalty.  
After the 7th grade year, transferring students must sit out one 
calendar year before they can become eligible.  These regulations can
